Officer Power suggestion
I searched for this and i didn't find anything, so here is my idea.
I want to be able to regulate the power of the officers in a guild. I used to be a guild leader and sometimes i would log on and find that my officers had booted people from the guild or done a guild battle without me knowing and I would return from being away to find our rating had gone down and there were people missing from the guild. My idea is an extra tab on the guild bar for the leader to regulate power. The picture doesnt show too much right now, but with guild storage supposedly coming in the future, i can see there being more options.
I made a picture to show what i mean.

edit2:Here is a new picture to show how you set options per officer.

I've been in some guilds where the officers really messed things up.
Even if you are careful about promoting, sometimes you can run into a idiot that could ruin it.

well this is the kind of thing I'm thinking of, after a traitor officer just took a few supporters from Master Casters and left to make his own guild, before he did kicking randomly about 20 members. Well, we trusted him before, but dunno...
anyway, /signed

Haha, that reminds me of when i was an officer in another guild. Well our guild sucked an all the good people left. So when I left i made everyone an officer. Hardy har har, this suggestion came about after alot of self reflection.

I think it should be per officer, not all.
My idea is when you click their little head on the Roster, the dropdown menu would include a "powers" thingy that would bring up a window with the options posted here.

Per officer, and yes, we need..no, nay, HAVE TO have this! It can't be guild wars without a guild..and if someone can do that..well.. no.

Even tho i never had problem with my officers since they were people i trusted before guildwars was even realeased
But i totally agree that more power over officers could just make things better for everyone (excluding untrusty officers of course)
I think there should also have an option to let members invite a guest(of course that member would have to pay for the nvitation) The guest then could apply for membership.
There's still so much work to do on guilds. Some games not centered on guilds even have more options than guildwars.
Ragnarok had a taxe system for guilds. Any members could share a set % of exp to the guild and then with more experience you could have special guild skills such as rent storage, more members and more defense to guild castle...
